Lindos
General:
Lindos is the most important archaeological site of Rhodes, situated on the Eastside of the island, 55km in the south of Rhodes town. It consists of the ancient Acropolis of Lindos dating back to the 9th – 6th century B.C., and which dominates the village of Lindos, due to its construction on a 116m high cliff.
