Rhodes Airport

General
The international Airport of Rhodes also called Diagoras Airport is situated at 14 km [8.6 miles] on the south-west of Rhodes Town. The airport hosts daily flights connecting to Athens and the rest of Greece as well as international charter flights, especially during summer months [tourist high season]. The drive to Rhodes Town is almost 20 minutes.

To and from the airport
The airport is reachable through public transportation. There is a bus stop at 300-400m on the left of airport’s main entrance. There are frequent itineraries and the drive time, by bus, is approximately 40 minutes. 

There is also a taxi station just outside the airport building for a private transfer to any destination on the island. The drive to downtown Rhodes will take approximately 20 minutes.
